Wilson stretching before a dual. |

Following up
from the success of Rush Hour, Jackie Chan brings us exactly
the same movie again, this time in the Wild West. The story is frighteningly
similar. Chan travels abroad from China to rescue a kidnapped princess
(in Rush Hour it was his friends daughter), then he is thrown
into a different culture and has to adapt (same here as before),
and along the way he picks up a partner, Owen Wilson (no high pitched
Chris Tucker this time). Even though the story is exactly the same,
this one shines a little brighter than Rush Hour. Jackie
Chan is his same old self, complete with Buster Keaton style comedy,
but the real treat of this movie is Owen Wilson playing a sensitive
wanna-be outlaw. His character is unorthodox and unpredictable,
creating some really humorous moments. The team of Chan and Wilson
along with the other colorful characters of the movie create a playful
atmosphere, and an enjoyable watch.
