This movie covers a lot of ground. Surfing, sky-diving, bank robberies-- Basically Keanu Reeves just getting involved in all those high-octane thrills. Reeves plays Johnny Utah, an FBI agent who goes undercover to crack a string of bank robberies. The robbers are suspected to be surfers, so Reeves hits the waves. Gary Busey is his partner "behind the scenes" (He's too fat to surf) in one of the few good Gary Busey roles (see also Lethal Weapon). The movie includes breakthrough action sequences that have since been copied, and overall is non-stop action goodness.
