| Look Who's
Talking (1989) |
Shawn
I'm amazed at
how much I liked this movie. After not having seen it for ages,
at some moments I was dying it was so funny. Other moments I heard
myself saying "aaaaaahhh" because it was really touching. Starts
out when Kirstie Alley has an affair with a married George Segal
and accidentally gets pregnant. Segal turns out to be a bum, and
starts cheating on Kirstie while she's pregnant. So when the little
baby boy Mikey is born, she starts to go on a father hunt for her
son. All the while, Travolta (pre-scientology freak) is the baby-sitter
who becomes Mikey's dad-like-figure. Memorable for its Bruce Willis
voice-over for Mikey's thoughts, this movie was memorable for me
just because it was such a feel-good movie. Four stars for the warm-fuzzy
factor.
