Jurassic Park III

Sam Neill in a standoff "Help?"

Shawn

Developed as a dinosaur thrill ride and nothing else - Jurassic Park III definitely delivers on its sole objective. Clocking in at 1 hour and 33 minutes, once the action starts, there's only brief moments in between the action to catch your breath. To bring us back to the Jurassic Park islands, a couple's son gets stranded on one of the Jurassic islands while paragliding with a friend. The desperate parents track down Dr. Grant (who survived the initial Jurassic Park) and feed him a bogus story about an adventure trip (plus offer him a lot of money to boot) in order to use his expertise to track down their son and save him. Their plane crashes, um kinda,... on the second of the two islands and then the running from dinosaurs adventure begins. There's a decent collection of humorous characters for the human factor, great tension is developed throughout the movie's action, and the filming style used the blend the shots and scenes together is quite clever. On the downside, it has an extremely abrupt ending.
