An enjoyable and humorous satire about those girls in high school you could never stand. Silverstone plays Cher (not the singer) who's on a mission to avoid the shrieking eels brought by her teacher Vicinni. OK, no. But she is out to party, shop, shop, party, do her nails, get a makeover, shop, shop, party, learn to drive, shop... you get the point. Dan Hedaya (no-tan-in-a-can) appears as Cher's father. Cher's troubles start when new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) shows up and starts taking all her moxy (or boys). So she's forced to shop, party, shop, do her nails, shop... oh wait. Enter stepbrother Josh (Paul Rudd) who she eventually falls in love with, after realizing her life is a sham (not Sam the...). Hey, at least it's not an Aerosmith video.
